Garland Faist
Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer
Garland Faist is responsible for directing the accounting, tax and financial operations of FCP’s management companies and partnerships.
Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Faist was Vice President - Corporate Controller for The Mills Corporation (formerly NYSE:MLS) which owned and managed retail and entertainment centers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Prior to The Mills Corporation, Mr. Faist was a senior manager with the international accounting firm, KPMG LLP. Mr. Faist is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech.
James M. Rensen
Senior Associate - Assistant Controller
James Rensen is responsible for fund-related accounting and provides accounting support for FCP's investor clients.
Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Rensen served as Senior Accountant at Perseus, LLC, a merchant bank and private equity fund management company, where he was responsible for fund reporting and investor communications. Prior to joining Perseus, LLC, Mr. Rensen was Senior Accountant with the Joint Venture Accounting group of HMS Host Corporation. Mr. Rensen is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Rensen is a MBA candidate at Georgetown University.
Alec Rife
Associate - Assistant Controller
Alec Rife is responsible for fund-related accounting and provides accounting support for FCP's investor clients.
Before joining FCP, Mr. Rife served as an Accounting Manager at Combined Properties Incorporated, a full service real estate company. Mr. Rife is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a MS in Accounting from George Washington University.
Steve Walsh
Senior Vice President - Capital Markets
Steve Walsh is responsible for asset and corporate finance as well as investor relations for FCP.
Mr. Walsh brings more than 15 years of capital markets experience in equity and debt markets and capital raising, most recently with CarrAmerica Realty Corporation (previously NYSE:CRE), where he served as Senior Vice President for Capital Markets and was a member of the Investment and Operating Committees. Before joining CarrAmerica, he worked at The Mills Corporation and NationsBank. Mr. Walsh received his MBA from George Washington University and his BS from SUNY at Oneonta.
