FCP was founded by Lacy I. Rice and Esko I. Korhonen, who first worked together as Principals at The Carlyle Group. Alex Marshall, previously a member of the Real Estate Group at JP Morgan Partners, joined the firm in 2002. In 2007, Thomas A. Carr, former Chairman and CEO of CarrAmerica Realty (formerly NYSE:CRE), joined the company as our fourth Managing Partner. The four Managing Partners together have more than 90 years of real estate investment experience.
